Nice sunny warm conditions and clean constant wind albeit a touch on the weak side. But I was always well powered up on my new 7.4. The sail felt slightly not right, but first time I've used it so probably hadn't set it up quite right, and I was moving the harness lines around all the time. New board was sweet though, planed very easily and early for its 104 litres. Main problem was the fin, which didn't quite fit in the box right - think the screw might be a bit long, so a few more washers should sort that out quite easily. I'll use that as the excuse for why I was spinning out quite a lot.

A great way to celebrate the end of uni finals. Shame I was sailing like a complete muppet and couldn't do anything apart from blast, but I'll put that down to general rustiness and lack of fitness from not having sailed for 6 months and sitting in the library instead. Off to Daymer Bay for 5 days now though so fingers crossed for a bit of wind and a chance to get my sailing back up to scratch.

My general crapness would normally result in only 2 stars, but the nice weather and smile on my face from the end of the exams means it gets 3.
